Big Purchase..... Big Fun...

OK, first and foremost, I'm a car enthusiast. Not really a gearhead, just an enthusiast. I'm constantly checking on all the latest 'n greatest cars around, and have a pretty good idea of what's out there, and what's comin. Key requirements: 250 hp, rear or all-wheel drive, rear seats, manual transmission. At first, this narrowed us down to BMW 3-series, Lexus IS, Infiniti G35 (coupe), Subaru STI/Legacy GT, Mitsu Lancer Evo, Jetta, and a couple others. These are all great cars that would be a lot of fun on the street and the track. But then i figured, it would be best to have 4 doors. Then with the options I wanted (nav, etc), a few others were ruled out due to price. Not many choices left, none that I was ecstatic about. Then i saw an add with the words "274 HP", "AWD", "6-speed manual transmission", "navigation", and few other goodies. There's one other word that appealed to me in the add... "Mazda". One thing led to another, and we now have our 4th Mazda in our humble home.
