Fun with Paw-Paw and Gung-Gung
Eva's parents arrived Thursday afternoon from Hong Kong. Primary purpose of the visit is to check on Grandma and Julie after their surgeries. Secondary purpose was to hang out with us!!!! We had a blast today. Drove up to San Francisco to have Yam-Cha with grandma, and EE-paw (grandma's sister). Ate at "Canton Restaurant" on Fulsom. Food was OK, but the company was great. Then we drove to Orinda to visit Julie and family. She seems to be doing well. The new house is gorgeous. I helped setup the stereo system to their new flat screen TV :). Then we went to "Children's Fairly land" in oakland. Shelby liked it. The great thing is that she can walk pretty much anywhere. it's like a giant playground with lots of fairytale themes. Shelby's favorite things were the train, the sand box, the bubbles, and the ducks (who were hanging out in the chicken run). Shelby turned lots of heads with her "squeaky shoes". Got some great pix of here hugging a giraffe, or "baff" as she calls it.
For dinner, she learned to play with a paper airplane at Giorgios. Let's just say the plane became "marinara colored" when we were done.
Gung-Gung made it the most fun. Shelby loves that man...
